We collect information you provide directly — name, email, profile details, pitch content, and investment preferences — as well as activity data such as swipes, matches, NDA signatures, and messages. We also store technical metadata like login timestamps and authentication provider.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to operate matchmaking between founders and investors, generate NDAs, enable private chat, and improve AI scoring and matching quality. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Data sharing

Profile and pitch content is visible to matched counterparties only. NDA text and signatures are immutable once generated. Aggregate, anonymized data may be used to improve the platform if you opt in.

4. Your CCPA rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to know — what categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and share.
• Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to limited legal exceptions.
• Right to opt out — opt out of the sharing of your personal information at any time via our CCPA Opt-Out page.
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny service or charge different prices for exercising your privacy rights.
• Right to correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information.

5. Data retention & security

We retain your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. NDA records are retained as legal evidence.
